The evolution of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and growing security concerns demands flexible and generally comprehensive approach to the issue of cyber security. The rapid growth of ICT has raised various complex questions which need to be addressed. A need has been felt to address cyber security broadly, as also in sufficient depth so that even students from non-technical streams will develop a more complete picture of the cyber security issues. The syllabus has been prepared with an aim to create more aware, responsive and responsible digital citizens, thereby contributing effectively to an overall healthy cyber security posture and ecosystem.
The entire world economy, education, governance and defence has become digital-first.
While on one side digital technology boosts efficiency & productivity, on the other side it creates similar scale for anti-social elements and mala-fide actors to inflict damage.

Are there any online live sessions?
There is no live online sessions. The entire course is self-study-oriented in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the UGC. It includes E- book, recorded videos, lab manual, and assignments. The course is made available completely online through the LMS, allowing students to explore the content in a self-paced manner.
In which language exam will conducted?
Exam will have conducted based on the selection of language of course learning
Will this credit be considered in my mark sheet & ABC?
Yes, credit of this course will be considered in mark sheet & ABC
What is the exam pattern?
MCQ-based online exam conducted through the LMS. The question paper is for 100 marks. Minimum 40 marks required to pass.
What if I fail in exam?
No worries, the university allows multiple attempts to pass.
